I am a documentary filmmaker and archive focused historian with a deep interest in how stories endure and why certain voices matter long after the moment has passed. My work is shaped by years of researching, preserving, and interpreting digital and cultural history, alongside making films that value sincerity over spectacle.
I have served as a jury member for several international film festivals, including Durban International Film Festival, FESPACO, Cairo International Film Festival, and Girona Film Festival. Sitting on juries has given me a close view of the creative courage it takes to bring a film into the world, as well as the quieter factors that influence how films are received.
Beyond filmmaking, I am passionate about community building and thoughtful visibility for independent creators. I believe films live longer and travel further when they are supported by clarity, intention, and genuine connection.
I approach cinema as a long conversation rather than a competition, and I value work that leaves space for reflection, empathy, and dialogue.
