I have been a cinema lover ever since I was a young teenager. Alone in a new town, I turned to films for comfort, and I feel in love with the craft. I set my sights on Film School and finished major projects at Curtin University as a director with a 93 overall. My final project (Stranger) still making the rounds at the film festival circuit.
Outside of university, Inwrite and direct my own projects, slowly elevating size and scale of productions. I write films that effect me, I love taking vulnerable and delicate themes that I am very close to (I've made movies on, disability, miscarriage, child abuse) and carefully crafting ways to deconstruct the human emotion associated with them (surrealism, interpretive-dance, sci-fi).
I think I can create marketable films, that will connect to many people, make them feel, and create conversation. That is my goal.
