Thus far in 2023 Janelle has taken home 11 wins for her film "Transcendent" and 4 additional nominations. These included prestigious awards such as "Best First-Time Director (IndieX Fest), Best Female Director (The Future if Film Awards), Best First-Time Director (Vesuvius International Film Festival) Best Original Screenplay (IndieX), Best Short Film (Vesuvius Film Festival), and Best Experimental Short (IndieX), plus many more.

In 2023, she won “Best Actress” and “Best Drama” for her film Sophia at FIFF London. She also won the prestigious "Best of Festival" Award and "Best Short Film" at the FLOW Film Festival, and took home and "Honorable Mention" from the Santa Barbara Screenplay Awards. "Sophia" was a official selection at multiple film festivals around the globe (including Cannes Independent Film Festival, Los Angeles Women's Film Festival, FIFF London, FLOW)

Janelle also recently won “Best Supporting Actress” in the award winning film “Knock, Knock.”

Janelle has also won multiple awards for her writing at festivals such as The Nashville International Film Festival and the Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards.

Janelle has worked on-screen in hundreds of commercials, films, and television series, and has helped to produce and write countless film projects. She has studied and been mentored by top-of-the-line producers, directors, and writers and even self produced two TV pilots.

Janelle's goal is to write and star in philosophical and fantasy features and TV series for a global audience. She also absolutely loves producing and bringing diverse groups of people together.
