Janelle Christa is a multi-award winning Directer, Screenwriter, Producer, and Actress (Including wins such as: Best Director, Best Actress, Best Original Screenplay, etc.)
Her recent film "Transcendent" took home more than 40 awards in the festival circuit globally and granted her acceptance into the very prestigious and exclusive David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Arts where she is working toward receiving her MFA as a Writer-Director, working under mentors such as J.V. Hart (Hook, Contact, The Muppets, Dracula, etc), Anya Leta (The Morning Show, Homeland, Fellow Travelers), Katrina O'Gilvie (Swagger, All Rise), and of course--David Lynch.
On-screen: Janelle has worked on-screen in hundreds of commercials, films, and television series.
Off-screen: Janelle has written, directed, produced, art directed, worked as a wardrobe designer, editor, and casting director on various commercials, television episodes, short and feature films.
She has studied and been mentored by top-of-the-line producers, screenwriters and directors such as Gregory Goodman (X-Men, Civil War, the Gorge, 8 Mile) Kate Lanier (Set it Off, Glitter, Mod Squad) James Khan (E.T., Star Wars Return of the Jedi) Jhoni Marchinko (Will & Grace, 2 Broke Girls), and Tiffany Thomas (Mandalorian, The Proud Family)
Janelle's big goal is to write and direct consciousness-based feature films in all genres showcasing stories of healing and redemption.
