Surrija is Jane Lui's Electro art pop project that plays with asymmetry, glitch, and electronic treatment of her roots in folk and classical training. She first earned traction with her body of work on Youtube Channel Luieland, self-produced quirky covers and originals rooted in singer songwriter. Released April 2020, the new album SURRIJA is an evolution into electronic territory, features Matt Chamberlain (David Bowie, Perfume Genius, Fiona Apple), produced alonside Sophocles, & Maxwell Gualtieri.

Surrija has worked with Son Lux, Matt Chamberlain, Tom Brosseau, Felicia Day, Kate Earl, Kina Grannis. Most recent contributions include featured vocals on the soundtrack of Everything Everywhere All At Once (A24). Composer for Birthday Candles (Chautauqua Theatre Co), music director, keyboardist, percussion, and cast of Cambodian Rock Band (Off-Broadway Signature Theatre 2020, La Jolla Playhouse 2019, OSF 2019). Composer for All’s Well That Ends Well (OSF 2019). Music Director and composer for Secret In The Wings (Coeurage Theatre 2017).
