Jan Baumgartner, born 1987 in Switzerland, discovered his passion for film and photography through his many travels. Since completing his education as a health professional in 2010, he has been working part-time as a freelance filmmaker and photographer in Bern, Switzerland. In 2015 he brought out his first documentary film. For his current film „Talking Soil“, he lived and worked in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a year.
