Jamie Savarese is an LGBTQ+ drama writer/director from Texas. She most recently directed, produced, and wrote her short film, There's Something I Have to Tell You, a mother-daughter story set in the Bahamas. She previously developed a satirical dark comedy, Haze, with UCP and Jennifer Todd/Lisa Rubin producing, a queer coming-of-age feature, Ciao Bella, with Anonymous Content, and staffed on The Big Leap on Fox. Jamie made the Out Loud List for the best unproduced TV pilot scripts by queer writers, the Love List for the best unproduced feature romance scripts, and was a finalist in the Black List x GM Incubator and The Black List To Be Commissioned Initiative. Jamie is currently developing a domestic thriller with ACE Entertainment and recently won best screenplay at B!tchFest Film Festival for her romance thriller Don’t Say Gay.
