James Tuverson is a multiple award-winning screenwriter with four completed feature screenplays and numerous produced short films. His work spans psychological drama, thriller, absurdist comedy, and animated adventure—anchored in bold, emotionally grounded storytelling with strong character arcs and socially relevant themes.

A former WGA screenwriter and screenwriting instructor, James spent over a decade working in Hollywood and has written, produced, and directed short films that have screened at festivals. His recent accolades include a semi-finalist placement at the 2025 Fade In Awards and multiple festival recognitions for his short scripts Let Us Prey and Truth or Die.

He lives in Coronado, California, and is also the creator/star of the YouTube series James’ N-Scale Train Layout Project.
