James Demitri didn’t fall into filmmaking, he burned his way into it.
A visual artist with roots in fashion, photography, and design, James spent two decades shooting for titles like GQ and Black, capturing icons and outsiders alike. His images always told stories - moody, provocative, cinematic. Film was the next inevitable step.
His debut feature, "Misplaced", was made with nothing but a phone, during the pandemic, and a need to feel something real. Raw, poetic, and haunting, it set the tone for a filmmaker unafraid to strip things back and go deep.
Now comes "DRAX", a modern-day vampire flick with blood, desire, and drama pulsing through its veins. It’s stylish, dangerous, and a really fun ride. Think horror meets heartbreak, wrapped in latex and neon.
James doesn’t wait for permission. He writes, shoots, and builds worlds with obsession-level focus. No plan B. Film is it. And he's just getting started.
