Jake Nicholas Adam Shaw is a British actor, writer, and cinematographer, known for his roles in the production of Retrospect (2021), The Interruption (2021) and Rumour Rumour (2021).

He was born in Nuneaton, England but grew up in Rugby, England where he attended both the Avon Valley School and Performing Arts College and Ashlawn School. During his education, Shaw studied Media Studies, which he states generated and fuelled his desire to work in the media industry. Alongside this, he also studied Mathematics Mechanics and Applied Information Technology.

In 2020, he made this decision to attend university and pursue his passion for filmmaking. He started studying at the University of Northampton, England in September 2020 and has stated it was the best decision he's ever made both for his mental health and his dreams of being a filmmaker.
