My love of movies has made me what I am today. Every skill that I have learned, every hobby I practice, I do to make myself a better filmmaker. Let me tell you a story.
Jake Bass has worked in the film/video/audio/production industry for over 25 years. He grew up in Roswell, New Mexico, the town famous for the 1947 UFO crash. For his entire life he has had a fascination with movies, especially the action and sci-fi genres. He also has a love of music and started playing the guitar at age 14. 1. Conflict is the essence of drama.
2. Story is about relationships between characters.
3. I'll be back.
4. Filmmaking is the highest form of art. All other art forms are required to make a film. What is a painting without composition? What is music with no story to tell? What is literature without prose? To be a filmmaker you must incorporate all the artistic disciplines. You must be a renaissance man.
