Md. Jahidul Islam is a Bangladeshi filmmaker living in Dhaka. After finishing school, he enrolled in a prestigious institution in Bangladesh to study Theater and Media Studies, with the intention of graduating in 2024. His passion for visual storytelling led him to act and direct many theater and short film productions. In 2018, he directed his first short film, 'Shesh?' (Is It the End? ), which finished second in two national film festivals and was nominated in a few more. His second short film, 'Room No. 406,' was released in 2022. 'Decision,' his third short film, delves into the psyche of a lonely man imprisoned in his humdrum daily routine. Jahidul wants to explore nuanced human emotions through his work and look at his characters through an empathetic lens.
