The Filmmaker is Jade Dandan Evangelista aka Wetsipon. She is a minor with a major passion in illustration and storytelling. This sat well in animation and her little hands just were natural.

Wetsipon Workshop

Jade aka Wetsipon is a typical kid with a love of drawing and creating. She is a digital native artist and relatively started late in her pencil skills but when the images formed, she never stopped. She expresses herself in music, coding, clay and cardboard sculpting, drawing, video, and animation. She is a grade 7 student as a homeschooler at Homeschool Global - Victory Christian International School with her mom as teacher and collaborator.

Recently her passion for animation has brought her around the globe while still in quarantine lockdown in Manila. Her first short film Kikki Racoon the Movie is doing rounds as part of the official selection in BAM! Festival (United States,) mice - Mostra Internacional Cinema Educatiu (Valencia), Reel Girls Film Festival (Canada), Kids Movie Fest (Ukraine) Nafco (United States) with award and a semi-finalist in Zoom.14 (Slovenia) and FECEA (Brazil)

Her second film, Get Well Soon, has also been virtually screened in Manila, Brazil, the United States, Ukraine, and Rio de Janeiro.

Her new series Wetsitales has allowed her films to be selected and screened in 17 countries and 30 festivals and screenings and counting.
