Jacqueline Mazarella is a writer, actor and producer. She created, produces and stars in "The Oversharer," a web series about a sweet, yet astonishingly raunchy woman desperate to make connections with everyone she meets. "The Oversharer" was an Official Selection of Series Fest, Los Angeles International Film Festival, L.A. Comedy Festival and L.A. Shorts Festival, and was directed by Ali LeRoi.
Jackie is best known for her on-camera role as Ms. Morello on the Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated, "Everybody Hates Chris," for which TV Guide called her “one of the show’s funniest, most wince-inducing recurring characters.”
She is also a feature writer, whose stories have most notably highlighted the work of USC School of Social Work faculty, students and alumni on human rights, systemic racism and inequality, physical and mental health issues, and the criminal justice system.
Her current project, "Ground Zero," is a half-hour PTSD comedy based on her experience in New York City on September 11th, 2001. In addition, she is developing a dysfunctional family comedy, "The Normals."
This year she is reprising her role of Ms. Morello in the new animated series, "Everybody Still Hates Chris."
