Jacq Frances is known to many as Jacq the Stripper, the cult hero that brought hilarity and humanity to the wild world of strippers everywhere.
Born in Canada, educated at McGill, and trained in strip clubs across the planet, she is a storyteller who's medium is always changing. Author of The Beaver Show: The Crass and Inspiring Saga of an Enterprising Megababe, Striptastic! A Celebration of Dope-Ass C*nts Who Like Money, and most recently, Divorce Illustrated: A Fairy Tale for Toxic Femmes, she weaves her visual arts and physical comedy to show onlookers what it means to be courageous and pleasure-focused in this earthly existence.
Her first comedy special, The Life and Divorce of Jacq the Stripper, debuts this spring.
She currently lives out of her Pink Subaru in Southern California.
