Jack Lacy is a queer, Filipino American filmmaker from Richmond, Virginia. He studies Film and Television Production at NYU to fulfill a personal goal of uplifting minority narratives. He has a strong interest in topics of Race, Gender, and Sexuality within film. Alongside this, Jack currently pursues learning the Filipino language, Tagalog, at NYU as a way of reconnecting with his Asian American heritage. His ultimate goal is to write and direct his own queer & BIPOC stories.
