A promising young festival just outside Seattle. The team is incredibly talented and welcoming and the festival itself has a lot of unique character. I'll be submitting my films here for years to come.

  • For a festival that is only 3 years young, Henry, Beckett and Logan have done an incredible job bringing community together. I loved their focus on community, creating spaces for filmmakers to have space to connect and, of course, a fabulous Theatre for screenings. And the new addition of using the Longman Performing Arts Center is EPIC! A 600 seat Theatre and a HUGE screen, which gave each film that true cinema experience. Also, the filmmaker lanyards and awards were stunning wood engraved plaques. Something to cherish from the festival.

My only feedback, I would have liked the Q&A to be better facilitated with some questions to each filmmaker. Some filmmakers did not get to speak, other than their intro. As audience members are sometimes shy and/or don't know what to ask.

But overall this was a fabulous weekend of creators, community and craft. I will submit to this festival again!
