Isaac Gorges is a passionate 16-year-old filmmaker based in Wichita, Kansas. Aside from filmmaking, Isaac runs his own video production company helping local businesses with online marketing videos while also serving as the director of video production for his school’s newspaper.
Gorges has a strong focus on visuals, cinematography, and color grading in his films, as well as ensuring his films carry emotional impact. He believes the goal of a good story should be to create an enjoyable experience for the audience, which is shown perfectly through his work. His journey in filmmaking is driven by a deep understanding of storytelling and cinematography and a desire to create impactful and enjoyable stories.
He has also received multiple awards including winning first place in the inaugural Latest Generation Film Contest run by the Lincoln Presidential Foundation, official selection at the inaugural Hindsight Film Festival, winning first place in the Reel Spirit Film Festival, and many more. He has also won several photography awards and his work has been featured in magazines and newspapers.
