Ira Shostak is a creative communications project manager, poet, and former student of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Social Technologies of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (sociology, public relations). Now, as a co-founder and head, she supervises the work of "linza agency", creative agency, and produces personal creative projects and initiatives. Her creative work as a poet includes the poetry collection "Changeable" (“Мінлива”) and several publications in anthologies. As an artist, she exhibited her works in group projects "Procrustes and the rest" in the gallery named after O. Zamostyan and "Where I am". She participated in the poetic and musical project EVTERPA and co-organized a series of musical and lyrical readings, "White readings" (2017). She also curated the exhibition of M. Matyashova's work "About the body".
"My Dad is a Lightning Researcher" is Iryna's debut film. She poetically documents her journey in an attempt to capture the memory of her father - her own and others. It's her student work during the Indie Lab - film production laboratories for young artists.
