I’m influenced by the independent films of the late 90s and early 2000s. As a born and raised Austintine, I would spend my weekends at the Dobie Mall theater on the UT Campus watching whatever obscure film was showing at the time. These films hit my heart in a way mainstream movies weren’t, and I saw myself reflected in a lot of the characters up on the screen.

I like to write grounded dramas focused on strong, female characters exploring the gray areas of life. My projects have been shortlisted for the Nicholl Fellowship, the Sundance Screenwriters Lab, and the Screencraft Film Fund.
