This year’s “Stop Domestic Violence” category is created and exhibited in partnership with The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut’s “Endworks” program.
EndWorks is a collaboration project between the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut and the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury, Inc. to engage the arts community and give voice to the vision of the Women’s Center; “. . . end the violence against women, men and children, to foster equality and empowerment for all.”As such, the relationship between artist and audience is distinctive, creating an artist-led encounter between those whose lives have been touched by domestic violence and sexual assault, and those who have not.

We actively seek the participation of creative leaders, through EndWorks, for arts-related programming that is engaging and will help to move the conversation forward regarding domestic violence and sexual assault through creative expression. The goal for 2018 is to partner with three (3) community producers/presenters of arts-related programming.
An EndWorks partnership with the artistic community is one that is conceived and created completely by– an individual, organization or business – with the purpose of partnering with the Women’s Center and the Cultural Alliance and using the arts as the vehicle to add value to arts-related programming, to help raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault, and to fund-raise for the Women’s Center.

The International PSA Competition strives to use independent film, video and new media as a vehicle to challenge and excite audiences, inspiring them to support independent film with their hearts, minds and their wallets.

Thought provoking visual stories, inspire audiences to take action! We hope your submission will be the one to fuel this fire and provide our viewers with a strong Independent Point of View!
