The Public Foundation "Fund of Art Females of Asia" has been organizing the Film Forum of female directors of Kyrgyzstan since 2016. More than 100 young women directors from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan participated in the forum, showcasing their works, exchanging experiences, and attending masterclasses conducted by prominent women directors and film festival directors from Central Asia countries.

International Film Forum of Female Directors of Kyrgyzstan has become one of the most popular Film Forums in Central Asia dedicated to female talents in the film industry in the past few years.

This year, the film forum will take place in the southern part of Kyrgyzstan, in the city of Osh. We are accepting films created by women directors from Central Asian countries.

Directors of shortlisted films will be invited to participate in the Film Forum, with accommodation and travel costs covered.

Rules & Terms

We accept short and mid-length films, fiction, documentary and animation.
Films must have been completed within the past three years.
Films must be directed by women.
Premiere status is not required, and all films are qualified to submit.
The festival has the right to use promotional material.
The films have to be under 40 min.
