Welcome to the 2nd Edition of the Inland Independent Film Festival.

Based in Araraquara, a vibrant cultural hub in the interior of the state of São Paulo, IIFF returns with a clear and simple mission: to decentralize cinema and connect independent voices from around the world with Brazilian audiences.

IIFF is a small, independent festival, created and organized by a collective of filmmakers and cinema lovers from different parts of the world. With limited resources but strong commitment, we believe that even a modest exhibition space can become a powerful window for meaningful films and diverse voices from the world’s many “inlands”.

We are a sanctuary for independent voices. We prioritize quality over quantity.

In alignment with this spirit, submissions from Brazilian filmmakers are free of charge.
For films from other countries, we apply a small symbolic submission fee, which helps cover basic operational costs of the festival. These fees may increase gradually as the festival date approaches, following a seasonal schedule. This structure allows IIFF to remain accessible while sustaining its independent and community-driven nature.

THE CONCEPT — 2nd EDITION
For this second year, our curatorial team will review hundreds of submissions to select only the most powerful works. We believe great stories transcend borders, budgets, and production scales.

THE EXPERIENCE — SPECIAL SCREENING
Unlike traditional festivals that screen large numbers of films, IIFF focuses on a single, carefully curated screening experience, open and free to the local community.

* Official Selection: Films that meet our curatorial standards receive the Official Selection laurel and digital promotion.
* Award Winners: Only the category winners are invited to the exclusive in-person screening in Araraquara (approx. 90–100 minutes total runtime). Being screened at IIFF represents a meaningful recognition within a focused and attentive context.

This screening is offered free of charge to the public, reinforcing our commitment to accessibility and cultural exchange.

Seja bem-vindo à 2ª edição do Inland Independent Film Festival.

Sediado em Araraquara, um vibrante polo cultural no interior do estado de São Paulo, o IIFF retorna com uma missão clara e direta: descentralizar o cinema e conectar vozes independentes de todo o mundo ao público brasileiro.

O IIFF é um festival pequeno e independente, idealizado e organizado por um grupo de realizadores e apaixonados por cinema de diferentes partes do mundo. Com poucos recursos, mas grande comprometimento, acreditamos que mesmo uma janela de exibição singela pode se tornar um espaço potente para filmes marcantes e para as múltiplas vozes dos “interiores” do mundo.

Somos um santuário para vozes independentes. Priorizamos qualidade em vez de quantidade.

Em consonância com esse espírito, filmes brasileiros não pagam taxa de inscrição.
Para filmes de outras nacionalidades, é aplicada uma taxa simbólica, destinada a cobrir custos operacionais básicos do festival. Essas taxas podem sofrer ajustes graduais à medida que a data do festival se aproxima, seguindo uma lógica sazonal. Essa estrutura permite que o IIFF se mantenha acessível, sustentável e fiel ao seu caráter independente e comunitário.

O CONCEITO — 2ª EDIÇÃO
Nesta segunda edição, nossa curadoria analisará centenas de filmes para selecionar apenas aqueles que se destacam pela força artística e narrativa. Acreditamos que grandes histórias ultrapassam fronteiras, orçamentos e escalas de produção.

A EXPERIÊNCIA — SESSÃO ESPECIAL
Diferente de festivais tradicionais com longas programações, o IIFF propõe uma sessão única e cuidadosamente curada, aberta e gratuita para a população local.

* Seleção Oficial: Filmes que atingem nosso padrão curatorial recebem os louros de Seleção Oficial e divulgação digital.
* Vencedores: Apenas os vencedores de cada categoria participam da exibição presencial exclusiva em Araraquara (aprox. 90–100 minutos de projeção total). Ser exibido no IIFF é um reconhecimento construído a partir de atenção e escuta.

A exibição é gratuita para o público, como um gesto concreto de acesso cultural e troca entre diferentes territórios cinematográficos.
