The Indywood International Short Film Festival (IISFF) is a global platform dedicated to celebrating short films and the extraordinary creative voices behind them. Founded under the Indywood Entertainment Consortium — a pioneering initiative launched in 2015 by visionary Sohan Roy to unite India's diverse regional film industries into a globally recognized cinematic force — IISFF carries forward that mission with a singular focus: to give short films the stage they truly deserve.

At IISFF, every frame finds its voice. Every story finds its stage.
The festival serves as a thriving platform for filmmakers from diverse backgrounds across the globe to showcase their work, exchange ideas, and connect with an international community of storytellers. IISFF places the short film at the very centre — celebrated, evaluated, and honoured entirely on its own merit, independent of longer formats.

IISFF is part of a growing family of world-class festivals under the Indywood umbrella. The All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF) has long championed the bridge between Indian regional cinema and the global film market, while the Indywood International AI Cinefest (IIAC) boldly explores the frontier of AI-powered storytelling. Together, these festivals reflect Indywood's unwavering commitment to cinema in all its forms — traditional and pioneering, regional and global.
