After 2 successful years, this evening of dance films at the Kan-Kan Cinema in Indianapolis is getting a makeover. The newly renamed Indy Dance Film Fest is now accepting submissions of short dance films from across the US, with special consideration given to those from Indiana. This beloved annual event invites audiences to experience dance from new angles and encourages innovation and experimentation.

β€’ Equal opportunities for promotion, press, and additional exposure

β€’ Attending Filmmakers will receive two complimentary tickets

Must be 16 or older to apply

Films made in Indiana or by Indiana filmmakers will be given special consideration

Films must be no longer that 15 minutes in length including credits

Films must be suitable for all audiences

Films must have been created in the last five years

Filmmakers must own the copyrights or have permission/clearance to all content including the music used in the film

If the film is selected, the Indy Dance Film Fest is permitted to use all images and film content to promote the festival

Once selected as an official selection, a film may not pull out of the festival or withdraw its submission
