We are unique and proud that many films we have showcased and screened have received theatrical distribution and ancillary distribution a few have even received Oscar consideration.

Indie Fest USA Int’l Film Festival was established in 2007 and is an exciting and entertaining eclectic mix of exceptional independent films from the U.S. and International filmmakers

To date we have screened over 2800 independent films from around the world, been attended by more than 3100 filmmakers and 26,000 film fans, and go the extra step to provide an entertainment experience for everyone attending the film festival Complementing this we add red carpet events, special guests and celebrities including Academy Award nominees and Golden Globe Winners, opening and closing night parties, daily seminars and socials plus networking galore.

Combined with our sponsors and supporters we proudly present a festival that has worked hard for our reputation of being truly filmmaker-friendly and willing to do everything we can to promote and showcase great independent films. We spotlight you the filmmaker and writer.

For our screenplay competition we have partnered with InkTip who is providing exciting and valuable prizes for our screenwriters.
Prize Information

InkTip: Where producers go for scripts and writers.

Winners of the screenplay will receive an InkTip Script Listing to promote themselves and their scripts to InkTip’s entire network of producers, managers, and agents.

Companies who are InkTip members include: ABC, Anonymous Content, APA, CBS Films, HBO Films, ICM, Paradigm, Paramount Pictures, Hallmark Channel, FX, Universal, WME, Echo Lake, Zero Gravity, Bad Robot, 20th Century Fox, and many more.

A prize package of one (1) InkTip Script Listing for the top three (3) winners of the best picture or best screenplay category to assist in providing them exposure. InkTip Script Listings provide writers/filmmakers with the opportunity to get their scripts read by InkTip’s extensive network of producers, reps, manager, agents, and other qualified industry professionals.

And

A prize package of one (1) InkTip Script Listing and one (1) InkTip Magazine Listing for the top three (3) winners of your screenwriting competition to assist in providing them exposure for their scripts. InkTip Script Listings provide writers/filmmakers with the opportunity to get their scripts read by InkTip’s extensive network of producers, reps, manager, agents, and other qualified industry professionals.

We also present our Special Achievement Award "The Charles Chaplin Achievement Award" to an individual recognizing their valuable contribution to Independent film, the film arts and the community.

Plus each "Official Selection" will receive two (2) all access passes for everything at the festival including live entertainment, networking, seminars and workshops, special discounts from area merchants, special discounted hotel and car rates, photo opportunities on the Red Carpet for you and your guests, plus private parties hosted by other filmmakers or sponsors.

Rules & Terms

INDIE FEST USA is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless INDIE FEST USA from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. In the event of low submissions or venue changes the festival reserves the right to modify the submission dates and or event dates without advance notice in order to provide a fair and honest competition for all filmmakers and an enjoyable experience for all attending. No submission fee refunds are granted unless the event is completely canceled by the organizers. Due to Covid-19 risks at public functions all attendees and general public agree to hold harmless and release the festival, it's parent company, sponsors, venues, employees, volunteers and vendors of any and all liability for illness or otherwise relating to the covid-19 public risk at live events.

    Great festival, great organization. My short film "2BR02B: To Be or Naught To Be" was nominated to the Best Short Film award, no doubt I'll keep submitting my films to this festival in the future.
