Imad Afdam is a Moroccan author and screenwriter writing in English. His work spans screenplays, poetry, stage plays, and prose.
Upon earning his Master's degree in the Czech Republic, he published the poetry collection Then The Dawn Returns and later the science-fiction novella What On Earth Have We Done?. His stage play The Forgotten People was featured during the Annual Kulturka Festival in Pilsen.
After seven years working in film and television story development in China, he now lives in Marrakesh, Morocco, where he continues to write and develop screenplays.
His feature screenplay Upstairs Downstairs was selected as a Quarterfinalist at the Page Turner Screenplay Awards and an Official Selection at Festival Angelica. He currently lives in Marrakesh, Morocco.
