Ian Joseph Greene (He/Him) is an underground filmmaker, CU Boulder MFA grad candidate, animator, and Co-Warlord of Bean Emerald Productions. His work typically blends anti-authoritarian themes and deadpan humor with fine art, using tactile stop-motion, practical effects, and experimental processes to look at isolation and embodiment. A native of the DIY circuit, Greene’s films have screened at alternative venues worldwide, including the Denver Underground Film Festival (DUFF) and the Coop Gallery’s Microcinema Film Fest. Operating strictly out of his own studio, he creates rapid-fire, high-concept visual shorts. He lives by a DIY ethic and will always believe that all cats are beautiful.
