I started before the days of YouTube, exploring the nature of flash animation. I transitioned into the new field of animation called machinima, the art of combining real time video game animation into film. At Chapman University, I was able to learn new film production skills that could translate into best storytelling practices. That’s when the company Machinima.com called me up to make more video game films in World of Warcraft, and I started my first foray into the entertainment industry. I got to experience firsthand the YouTube multi-channel network war and participate in the creation of many verticals of video game content for teens and adults alike.
I was able to simultaneously spend time exploring my own YouTube channel and created music videos and animation amassing 34 million views. I was recruited at a small video game company to get an idea of how it gets made too!
It was at that point that I found myself working in a different field entirely: healthcare and tech with an ad agency. There I discovered a new love for documentary work and was able to build my skills producing video content, field producing, scoping/budgeting projects, and editing & animating numerous styles of social, sizzles, testimonials and spots.
Today I continue to push the boundaries of filmmaking, taking on new challenges to learn stop motion animation, live action miniature fabrication and creative editing. I can't wait to show you my work!
