The INDOMITUS film festival was created with the aim of promoting the protection of nature through great stories and great adventures.
Our goal is to show that nature deserves to be respected and preserved for its intrinsic value.

El festival de cine INDOMITUS se creó con el propósito de incentivar la protección de la naturaleza a través de grandes historias y grandes aventuras. Nuestro propósito es mostrar que la naturaleza merece ser respetada por su valor intrínseco.

Awards & Prizes

ENGLISH
The INDOMITUS film festival awards all films selected for screening with €100 (between 15 and 30 minutes long) and €200 (between 30 and 60 minutes long).
In addition, all selected films, even if they cannot be screened due to space constraints, will receive an honorable mention and laurels specially created by us.

ESPAÑOL
El festival de cine INDOMITUS premia a todas las películas clasificadas para proyectarse con 100 € (entre 15 y 30 minutos) y 200 € (entre 30 y 60 minutos).
Adicionalmente, todas las películas seleccionadas, aunque no puedan proyectarse por cuestión de espacio, recibirán una mención de honor y laureles especialmente creados por nosotros.

Rules & Terms

ENGLISH
Films addressing the following topics are eligible: adventure, mountaineering, nature-related culture, environmental advocacy and nature.
Films with promotional or competitive content are not permitted.
Film length: Between 15 and 60 minutes.
Resolution: Full HD, 2K or 4K (4096 X 2160 px or 3840 x 2160 px).
Languages: Films may be submitted in any language. If they are spoken in Spanish, subtitles are not necessary. Films submitted in any other language must include subtitles in English or Spanish in .srt format.
Selected films must be sent in ProRes or DNx format to preserve the quality of the original. We will convert them to DCP format for screening in the cinema.

ESPAÑOL
Se admiten películas que aborden los siguientes temas: Aventura, montañismo, cultura relacionada con la naturaleza, denuncia ecológica, naturaleza y medio ambiente.
No se admiten películas con contenido promocional ni competitivo.
Duración de las películas: Entre 15 y 60 minutos.
Resolución: Full HD, 2K o 4K (4096 X 2160 px o 3840 x 2160 px).
Idiomas: Pueden presentarse películas en cualquier idioma. Si están habladas en español no es necesario incluir subtítulos. Las películas presentadas en cualquier otro idioma deben incluir subtítulos en inglés o en español en formato .srt.
Las películas clasificadas se tendrán que enviar en formato ProRes o DNx para preservar la calidad del original. Nosotros las convertiremos al formato DCP para su proyección en el cine.
