This festival aims to elevate Hoosier Filmmakers. The Indiana Selects Showcase is a celebration of films made in Indiana by Indiana filmmakers. Presented by the Indiana Film Directory and hosted at the Kan-Kan Cinema in Indianapolis, the Showcase is all about giving local stories a proper big-screen experience and bringing filmmakers and audiences together in one room.
We’re looking for narrative and documentary films of all lengths that were created in Indiana by Indiana-based filmmakers. Whether you’re an emerging filmmaker or a seasoned pro, if your work is rooted here, we want to see it. Our goal is simple: highlight strong storytelling, support local creators, and create a welcoming space to watch, talk about, and celebrate Indiana-made films.
Selected films will screen in a professional theatrical setting and may be invited to participate in post-screening Q&As, filmmaker conversations, and audience engagement events. Awards and audience recognition will be presented, with an emphasis on artistic quality and community connection rather than competition.
