I-CAN - International Cartoon and Animation Festival of Norway is a new and small voluntary, non-profit organization that primarily focuses on drawing/cartoons, animation of cartoons, and film through an annual festival in October where there will be several individual events and workshops throughout the year.

I-CAN has two target groups:
a. children and young people
b. adults

Where most activities are intended for children and young people (approx. 70%). Our goal is that all of these events for children and young people are free.
I-CAN is in the process of establishing a professional council that consists of professionals from home and abroad with a background in the genres of drawing and related genres, film and digitization, and animations. The academic council will play a major role in helping to shape the program content.

Best Animated Short Film - Jury Award
Best Animated Short Film - Audience Award
Best Animated Short Film - Honorable Mention

All selected films, finalists, and winners will receive laurels.

Rules & Terms

* Production year: 2023, 2024 or 2025.
* Running time: Max 15 minutes.
* Types: All categories of animated films can participate, except commercials.
*Only animated films will be accepted.

    What festival was this? For example, my film has entered the final section. I emailed your festival two months ago but you didn't reply. You do not have an updated website or Instagram page. Then you want the opinion of the filmmaker. Your festival is sloppy.
