Awards: certificates, trophies, media promotion, and added to official list of Winners and Finalists for Festival Year. An awards ceremony will be announced online. You do not have to attend the awards ceremony to win. For information on awards ceremony, merely forward an email to hollywoodjumbo@gmail.com.

GUIDELINES

All submissions must be original work or otherwise adaptations.

Overseas submissions(anywhere outside of the USA) you can submit your manuscript directly on the website at hollywoodjumbo.com

Please note that plagiarism is a serious offense unless otherwise public domain - unoriginal works will be dismissed immediately.

Works that fall under public domain, of course, have no copyright. You are free to submit anything within the general public domain as a fresh perspective.

Short film scripts must be between 3 - 69 pages.

TV Pilots - format length.

Feature length screenplays are traditionally between 70 - 125 pages (but please, no longer than 165 pages).

Short films - under 70 minutes.

TV Pilots are considered short film length.

Feature films - over 70 minutes.

All screenplays must be written in professional screenplay format.

Films can be shot in any format.

Any valid screenwriting software can be used for submission of your script. Final Draft is the Industry standard.

Microsoft Word has a screenplay template bundled into the Word package.

Submission of a screenplay or film is for the purpose of festival recognition and also complimentary criticism (for helpful insights, improvements and talent growth) of written works or films (and of course, coverage can be provided with entires).

We apologize, there are no refunds. Our Judges begin reading the scripts and watching the films as soon as we get them and then the manuscript(s) or films go immediately into coverage-phase from there.
