From the creators of the Depth of Field International Film Festival, Docs Without Borders Film Festival, and the WRPN.tv Women’s International Film Festival (among a few other successful festivals) and, under the umbrella of the WRPN.tv Network we bring you the Hispanic International Film Festival (HIFF)

REQUISITOS DE PRESENTACIÓN
Sólo se necesita UNO de los siguientes requisitos para presentarse:
- Producida o dirigida por una persona de origen hispano.
- La película tiene un actor principal y/o secundario hispano.
- Que la película contenga un tema relacionado con temas hispanos.
Se pueden presentar películas producidas en un país no hispanohablante, siempre que se aplique una de las reglas descritas anteriormente.

Envíe su guión ganador del Rhodium Award a Polaris Pictures, una compañía de financiación de películas.
Polaris no acepta guiones no solicitados.
Si su guión es rechazado, le comunicaremos los motivos y tendrá la oportunidad de volver a enviarlo gratuitamente hasta 30 días antes de la última fecha límite o de la siguiente temporada.
El Festival Internacional de Cine Hispano acepta guiones de largometraje no producidos y producidos de 70 a 130 páginas, guiones cortos de menos de 40 páginas, teleplays de 45 a 70 páginas y pilotos de webisodios de 10 a 20 páginas.
Los guiones deben estar escritos en inglés por un escritor hispano o tener un tema o personaje principal hispano.

Se pueden presentar películas producidas en un país no hispanohablante, siempre que se apliquen UNA de las normas descritas anteriormente.

REQUIREMENTS TO SUBMIT
Only ONE of the following is needed to submit:
• Produced or directed by a person of Hispanic Origin.
• Film has a Hispanic Lead and/or supporting actor.
• Film Contains a subject related to Hispanic issues.
Films produced in a non-Spanish-speaking country can be submitted, provided that one rule described above applies.

Get your Rhodium-winning script submitted to Polaris Pictures, a film finance company.
Polaris does not accept unsolicited submissions.
If your screenplay is rejected, we will tell you the reason(s), and you’ll have a chance to re-submit for free up to 30 days before the last deadline or the following season.
The Hispanic International Film Festival accepts unproduced and produced feature-length screenplays of 70 to 130 pages, short scripts under 40 pages, teleplays of 45 to 70 pages, and webisode pilots of 10 to 20 pages.
Screenplays must be written in English by a Hispanic writer or have a Hispanic theme or main character.

Las películas ganadoras de otros festivales de éxito ya han recibido distribución a través de nuestras relaciones con distribuidores exclusivos:
- Revisión garantizada del distribuidor por Worldwide Motion Pictures para los largometrajes, Adler & Associates para los largometrajes y cortometrajes, y "Cardinal XD Distribution entre otros que visitan nuestra red en línea, WRPN.tv, de vez en cuando.
Todo para los seleccionados: Best of Festival y algunos Best of Show.
- Otros festivales pretenden invitar a los distribuidores a una sede: Se los entregamos directamente, garantizado.
- El HIFF es un festival de proyecciones en directo y una competición virtual: Invertimos en conseguir el reconocimiento de los distribuidores para que las películas de calidad tengan una vida más allá de una única proyección en el festival.
Sólo proyectamos en directo las películas ganadoras del Best of Festival.
Nuestro objetivo es recoger las reacciones del público para que las utilicen nuestros distribuidores. No organizamos fiestas de networking ni seminarios después de las proyecciones.
Es posible que se realicen entrevistas en vídeo con el público y que se muestren en WRPN.tv.

- El HIFF, con WRPN.TV Entertainment Network, también ofrece una oportunidad única de mostrar su película a una comunidad mundial de aficionados al vídeo de docenas de países a la que los cineastas no tendrían normalmente acceso, en forma de una oportunidad opcional de exposición de vídeo en línea. Esta función está disponible para "Best Of festival" "Best Of Show,"
"Excelencia destacada", "Excelencia" e incluso algunos ganadores de "Mérito excepcional".

What makes us different?......

Top-winning films at our other successful festivals have already received distribution through our exclusive distributor relationships:
- Guaranteed distributor review by Worldwide Motion Pictures for features, Adler & Associates for features and shorts, and “Cardinal XD Distribution among others that visit our online network, WRPN.tv, every so often.
All for selected: Best of Festival.
- Other festivals claim to invite distributors to a venue: We Deliver Them To You Directly, Guaranteed.
- HIFF is a live screening festival and virtual competition: We invest in getting distributor recognition for quality films to give them a life beyond a one-time festival showing.
We live-screen only the Best of Festival winners.
Our screening event is to collect audience reactions to be used by our distributors. We don't conduct after-screening networking parties or seminars.
Video interviews of the viewing audience may be conducted and shown on WRPN.tv

- HIFF, with WRPN.TV Entertainment Network, also offers a unique opportunity to show your film to a worldwide community of video fans from dozens of countries that filmmakers would not normally have access to as an optional online video exposure opportunity. This feature is available for "Best Of festival," “Best Of Show,”
“Outstanding Excellence,” “Excellence,” and even some “Exceptional Merit” winners.

Distribución:

Distribution
HIFF, in cooperation with our distribution colleagues, is proud to offer guaranteed
distributor review to the top winners in Best of Festival Category*:

"Best of Festival Award: Selected by genre, category, and country. Presented to outstanding entries from among the Best of Show Winners."
"Best of Show" is selected by genre, category, and country, so there will be over one BOS, i.e., BOS Documentary (Domestic), BOS Documentary (Foreign), and so on.
* (Please note: If there is insufficient competition within any category, HIFF reserves the right to withdraw a "Best of" presentation in that category.)

O bien 1): su película ya es del calibre de una competición, y se convierte en una Selección Oficial,
O bien 2): recibirá una carta en la que se explica exactamente qué es lo que impide que sea aceptada.
Si puedes hacer correcciones, vuelves a presentarla GRATIS.
Cineastas noveles: ¿cuándo han recibido una carta y el festival les ha explicado por qué han rechazado su película?
Y mucho menos que te dejen volver a presentarla GRATIS incluso la temporada siguiente (En caso de que no hayas tenido tiempo suficiente para arreglarla)

We don't just charge a fee and ignore you if you're rejected.
With us, rejected films have access to Feedback: the one element most festivals ignore.
Instead of paying submission fees and getting nothing in return,
EVERYONE who submits to HIFF will receive EITHER OF TWO benefits:
Either 1): your film is already competition caliber and becomes an Official Selection,
OR 2): you’ll receive a letter outlining exactly what prevents it from being accepted.
If you can make corrections, you resubmit for FREE.
First-time filmmakers: when have you ever received a letter and had the festival explain WHY your film was rejected?
Much less let you resubmit for FREE, even the following season (In case you did not have enough time to fix it)
