Hirdeep Rajkhowa, a 32-year-old dentist turned filmmaker working independently from Nazira, Assam. Upon acquiring filmmaking skills, he worked as a freelancer in photography, background scoring, video editing, and creative writing for both independent and commercial projects; he then joined a well-known creative agency to apply his talents in advertising as Creative Associate Director. Although he was always skilled at filmmaking, he left his job in Advertising to follow his passion for creating films as his genuine vocation.
He served as an Assistant Director, Sound Designer, and Background Scorer for numerous independent short and feature films that were presented at various film festivals throughout India.
‘To New Beginnings’ marks his initial short film as Writer-Director, where he also takes charge of cinematography, editing, sound design, makeup artistry, and background scoring.
Having now found the courage to create a film, he feels nothing can prevent him from producing more films and quality, realistic content.
