Dazzled by the Hollywood images he saw on television as a child in Caracas, Hernán de Béky vowed that one day he would have a role in the U.S. Film, Television and Music industry. At age 21, he came to Los Angeles on a scholarship to study a Bachelor of Film and Television at Columbia College-Hollywood. Very soon, he was commissioned as an entertainment correspondent by prestigious media outlets in Latin America. His task to interview many stellar figures began with Sir Alfred Hitchcock. As a Voice Over Artist, Hernán began a meteoric career in advertising almost by accident, in which he received a Clio Award, two Don Belding Awards, and an Award of Excellence from General Motors. As a writer, Hernán has been recognized with three Emmy® Awards. With his autobiographical film "Remember This Voice" (produced by The Hollywood Reporter), Hernán has thus far received multiple Grand Jury Awards from film festivals in the United States, Canada, Chile, England, France, India, Japan, Mexico and Singapur.
