Based in the beautiful landscape of East Tennessee, Heather pursues her creative practice of filmmaking, dance, and performance. Her experience living and working in the great city of Los Angeles includes directing/choreographing experimental films and live performances; working as a casting associate for television shows and films; and serving on research teams for documentary films.

Heather is interested in how film both reflects and affects society and culture. With each project, she is challenged to harness and shape the power of film and performance to catalyze positive change in a viewer.
