Harrison Allen first began making stop-motion animated shorts when he was thirteen years old, winning second place in his age group in the Nicktoons Network Animation Festival "Built By Me" Lego Movie Contest in 2008 with Bohrok Attack. He later went on to win Best Animation at the Dixie Film Festival in Athens, Georgia in 2011 with Pirates Rule! and Best Animated Short at the DIY Film Festival in 2013 with How to Not Rob a Bank.
Harrison's latest animated short, Welcome to Darkmoor, was five years in the making. It contains over 11,000 frames shot in greyscale with some select scenes featuring red lighting and red elements for dramatic effect.
