Haris Latif, a self-reliant filmmaker and script writer from Badin, Sindh, has a background in Media studies from Sindh Madarsatul Islam University. His passion for filmmaking led him to earn a scholarship for a Filmmaking diploma course at the New York Film Academy Australia. He has been recognized and honored throughout his career with numerous awards for his exceptional direction, including the recent Nasff award for his documentary "Magic Hands."

Recently added to his accomplishments by directing the feature-length film "In the Prison of Time."
