Spirit of the Roller-boot, by DWY! is a comedy that encourages the audiences minds to wander and flourish, reaching provocative heights. DWY! bares the souls of alter egos, and  details rawness of emotion, connection and escapism.

Our main character is based on our illustrator CHEEKS. Who studied at Leeds Art University, UK. Visiting New York City nightlife, with band mates, inspired the art, comedy and sounds of New York CHEEKS, engaging with street corner traders, purchasing beloved roller boots, and spending time at the vibrant 80's world of Adult Roller-dance - The Roxy!

CHEEKS lived with, created and died as a result of DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). Displaying of alters intensified, at the age of 49, in 2022 life was taken by suicide. In memory, CHEEKS sister Hannah and niece Mabel resurrected the talent of CHEEKS through DWY! in 2025.

The dream-like surreal characters of DWY!, encourages a balanced ego of belief, self-worth, boldness, connection, motivation, popularity and truth - in a land, where miracles happen, and the alter egos of New York City nightlife thrive!

Audiences are captured in the story of our entertainment characters. 3D garments, opulent textured wallpaper and furniture, has been created, to distinguish the characters and their scene. Through costume and set-design made in Paris and miracle lands beyond.
