Hakim Zziwa, a Ugandan-born director and producer who drew inspiration of visual storytelling from his strong performance background as a dance artist later producing concept-based dance videos, such as "IN THE BARROW" (2018), showcased at the Urban Film Festival in Paris 2018, "ASCENSION" (2020) at the Motion State Arts Festival, and "FADED" (2023) at the Berlin Inter Film Festival.

Expanding his directing & producing creative horizons, Hakim's documentary short film "THE DARK ONE" (2021) emerged as a finalist at the Afrykamera Film Festival in Poland 2021, he later directed a narrative proof of concept action thriller short film "BUILDING 62" (2023) which also emerged as a finalist at the African International Film Festival.

Hakim also co-produced another proof of concept short film “PARTLY HAZY” (2024) which has been nominated in a number of film festivals like the Indie Short Fest in Los Angeles. Currently, Hakim is developing his 1st feature film and also a limited series based on his hit action thriller short film "Building 62".
