Gregory David Solomon is an award-winning writer of faith-based screenplays, having worked in the film industry for thirty-plus years previously wearing various hats and was often required to read and breakdown numerous scripts. He found that a small percentage of them were very good. Others were practically unreadable. This started him down the road of studying screenwriting in the late 90’s for a better understanding of what characteristics a ”good” script should have. He is mostly self-taught, studying books and reading articles, but has also attended some Screenwriting seminars and boot-camps whenever time permitted.
In a few years, Gregory had the good fortune to acquire the representation of a Literary Manager in Los Angeles who sent him out on many great interviews with very prestigious production companies including Weed Road, Lightstorm, Hallmark, and several others. But, alas, he remains unproduced and has since affably left the agency.
The true story of “Unforgivable” is the first screenplay he has entered into Christian Film Festivals, and it has done quite well. He shot a short film based on the full-length script and it is now being edited.
Gregory firmly believes that stories based on real events have the most lasting impact on people because they always hit close to home on multiple levels.
He added his own personal note: “I have found writing to be a very fulfilling venture for me, and I pray my efforts will also be inspirational to others.”
