Gonzalo Murúa Losada pursued a Bachelor's degree in Film at the University of Cinema in Buenos Aires (FUC) and later completed a master' s in Documentary Film.
He works as a freelance film editor, documentary director, and educator. Recently, he has been appointed as a full-time professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, teaching film classes in Sonora Norte.
His debut feature documentary was "Los fantasmas de Losada" (2015), followed by "Te quiero obsceno" (2016) exploring the life of transgender poet Naty Menstrual. The latter was selected in numerous national and international festivals focused on gender issues. In 2022, he received backing from the INCAA to film his latest feature, "Las Voces de Pablo”. In 2023, he initiated a new documentary project centered around the LGBTIQ+ choir of Sonora.
