Committed to continuous growth, Katy complemented her academic background with ongoing learning, including the completion of a Google Project Management course.
Katy's short films have earned recognition at major film and animation festivals, many winning awards and commendations. Beyond the festival circuit, Katy is honoured to have been recognised with the "Best of British" accolade by Digital Arts and a 4Talent award from Channel 4, celebrating the best emerging creative talent from around the UK.
Katy's work on "The Power Of Empathy" for the RSA gained unprecedented traction, amassing over 40 million views across platforms and receiving a Webby Award among other accolades. This animation has been widely utilised in mental health training and educational institutions worldwide, earning endorsements from prestigious organisations like NHS England, US Dept of Justice, and the United States Air Force.
Her projects have been featured in publications like Ten4 Magazine, Digital Arts Magazine, Computer Arts Magazine, DPI magazine, the Metro newspaper, and on the D&AD website.
In 2015, Katy co-founded Superdoodle Ltd, a dynamic creative production company that boasts a talented ensemble of artists. Here, Katy continues to blend her creative vision with effective leadership, and that shines through in every project she oversees. A notable achievement is Superdoodle’s “Food Gone Bad” TV advertisement, which clinched the Gold at the Drum Roses Awards and received “A Wee Nod” at the Nods Awards, promoting the Scottish Government's recycling campaign effectively. Additionally, the series of animations on self-improvement for Twill garnered over 7 million views and received a nomination at the Royal Television Society West Of England Awards.
