Garrett Glassell is the Writer and Director of Kade. Garrett recently finished his associates from Palomar College in Film and Television. Garrett has been producing original films since 2019, alongside trusted colleague and 1st AD, Marcus West. The two have created a number of films including Snapped, which was nominated for “Best Stunt Choreography” from the San Diego Film Awards and “Best Short” from the Best Shorts Competition.
Most recently, Garrett won an Emmy for “Best Student PSA” from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the Pacific Southwest Chapter for his one minute PSA titled “We Don’t Have to...” which dramatically depicts the realism of public school shootings. Garrett’s previous short films have been nominated for awards at festivals including IndieShortFest and Best Shorts Competition in La Jolla.
