Gideon Ololajulo began his filmmaking career at the National Film Institute in Jos, where he collaborated on short films such as Nana and Jungle Justice. He moved back to Ibadan and started photography, and then progressed to making short films by himself. He is currently at SRH Berlin studying Film and Motion Design.
