Mwaka Gerald Remmy Is a second Born of three Children. Born On the 31st Day Of the year 2000, His Love for drama and the arts was Birthed when he was 11 in his church, Watoto Church Laminadera where he debuted in the Christmas play Of Mary And Joseph. From then On, He Hasn't Looked Back, Starring on Films and Stage Plays home and abroad. His Knowledge of the arts spans Singing, Dancing, Acting, Production work, Directing, Writing and editing.
Known Fondly By His Nickname "Jeje" or Simply "Jay," Remmy is known by his brilliance, attention to detail, and his meticulous and yet effortless Performance, Marked by a Brush Of Excellence Which He widely attributes to his Single Mother, Maraline Akello who Is also a very Known Gospel Singer in the Northern Part Of Uganda. He Says, Her Hard work and Commitment to Excellence constantly inspire and motivate him to do even Better.
Gerald Studied Most Of his Life in The Watoto Schools in Uganda, an Organisation that that Believes in the power of Creating "Responsible And God Fearing Future Leaders" Out of Fatherless Children and Vulnerable widows. It Is here, that his Birth for the love of The Performng Arts Started, Where he wrote, Staged and acted in a number of Plays and Sang in the Watoto Church.
The Love for the Arts Drove Him to Then Pursue a Degree In Drama and Film In Uganda's Leading Premier University, Makerere, Scoring an Impressive 4.5 G.P.A.

Mentored By One of the Best and Multi award winning Film Makers In Northern Uganda Daniel Komakech, Mwaka keeps aiming for the stars, inorder to make both his country and his continent free with his film eyes set on the oscars as his final destination.
