George Zouvelos is a multi award winning Indie Director, Screenwriter and SAG-AFTRA / AEA actor. George is originally from Astoria, Queens New York City, and with deep Greek / Hellenic roots. George has garnered multi awards for his directing, screenwriting and acting, including most notably the Cannes Shorts, and the Cannes World Film Festivals in France.
His early acting studies included Classical Acting; and later various acting techniques including Adler, Meisner, Hagan, and Chubbuck; and focusing on his Stanislavsky Method studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City.
George is a member of National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences at the New York City chapter. He's a member of NYWIFT New York Women in Film and Television, AFI American Film Institute. George earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City; and also 'Filmmaking' from the New York Film Academy, NYFA .
George speaks, reads, and writes Hellenic Greek fluently, and his surname is pronounced (Zoo' vel os)
