Her most recent film, the sci-fi adventure Fugitive from Asteron, was completed in 2026. It stars Henry Ian Cusick (Lost, MacGyver), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) and Rory Gibson (The Young & the Restless). It is represented by worldwide sales agent House of Film.
Gen has written the stage play adaptations of two of her novels, Just the Truth and Noble Vision. Her filmed stage play of Just the Truth garnered a dozen festival awards.
Her commentaries have appeared in Forbes, The Orange County Register, Real Clear Markets, and other publications. Gen gives presentations on the role of fiction in portraying the important ideas that impact society.
Prior to fiction writing, Gen worked as a pharmaceutical chemist, business consultant, and corporate writer. She holds a B.S. in chemistry, cum laude, from Polytechnic Institute of New York (now New York University Tanden School of Engineering) and a M.A. in philosophy from Columbia University. Her variety of life experiences—in science and business, as well as in philosophy and writing—brings vibrant characters, urgent issues, thematic depth, and an outside-the-box approach to Gen’s stories.
