I am a Deaf, award-winning multidisciplinary visual artist originally from Venezuela and currently based in Rochester, NY. My artistic focus spans photography, graphic design, and filmmaking.
I earned my BFA in Photographic and Imaging Arts with a concentration in Visual Media from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where currently a staff member and pursuing an MFA in Film Production, where I aim to enhance my cinematography and directing skills.
My diverse intersectionalities—being Latino, an immigrant, Deaf, and Christian—shape my unique perspective, allowing me to share visually vivid narratives that evoke emotional responses.
In the summer of 2012, I moved to NYC from Venezuela with just two luggage, and there in the Big Apple, I started my journey as a photographer and immersed myself me in the vibrant artistic community.
A few fun facts about me: I'm multilingual and have traveled to nearly every country in South America. In my free time, I enjoy photography walks, Latin dancing, watching movies, and spending time with loved ones.
