GEOFILMFESTIVAL

BANDO DI PARTECIPAZIONE, REGOLAMENTO E SCHEDA D'ISCRIZIONE.

Art. 1 - Ente Organizzatore
Il Premio Internazionale di Cinematografia “Golden Earth” del GeOFF – CittadellaGeoFilmFestival V Edizione, è organizzato dall’Associazione Culturale Officina delle Idee, in collaborazione con Associazione Aiutismo Onlus, CINIT – Cineforum Italiano, Historia Travel, Iat Ufficio Turistico, Hotel Filanda, unitamente al Patrocinio del Comune di Cittadella (PD) – Assessorato alla Cultura, la Provincia di Padova e della Regione del Veneto, dell’Associazione Plastic Free, Etra Spa, Plastic Free, Istituto Superiore Barsant-Galilei. La Direzione Organizzativa e Artistica è curata dal regista Rocco Cosentino.
Art. 2 - Località e date di svolgimento
Il suddetto Festival avrà il suo svolgimento nel Comune di Cittadella (PD). Le sedi ufficiali per le proiezioni saranno la Sala Auditorium Torre di Malta e la Sala Consiliare di Villa Rina, oltre che Internet. Le proiezioni del Festival si svolgeranno l’ultimo giovedì di ogni mese, nelle date del programma. Questi i due appuntamenti d’inizio e di conclusione: Serata di Apertura giovedì 24 settembre 2026 alle ore 20.45 presso la Sala Auditorium Torre di Malta; Gala di Premiazione e consegna Awards: giovedi 30 settembre 2027 alle ore 20.45 presso la Sala Consiliare Villa Rina. Data e location, che potrebbero subire variazioni, sono le seguenti:

Art. 3 - Partecipazione al Festival
L’ammissione al Festival dovrà essere ufficializzata con l’iscrizione sulle piattaforme specifiche, indicate nel sito del festival. L’iscrizione dovrà essere realizzata entro il 31 agosto 2026. Ogni autore/classe potrà presentare n. 01 (uno) opera.

Art. 4 - Materiale da inviare Unitamente all’iscrizione sulle piattaforme online, sarà necessario far pervenire, alla Direzione Organizzativa, i file della documentazione anche a mezzo di posta elettronica.

Art. 5 - Opere in concorso
Le opere, per poter partecipare, dovranno avere la durata massima di 30 minuti (trenta), compresi titoli di testa e di coda, e dovranno essere collegate ai temi del Festival. È indispensabile che le opere siano originali e libere da diritti d’autore.

Art. 6 - Giuria del Festival
Tutte le opere saranno sottoposte al vaglio del Comitato Organizzativo, che provvederà alla selezione. E’ prevista una Giuria Popolare del Festival composta dal pubblico presente in sala, e collegato online. Per le votazioni dovrà essere scaricata, e utilizzata, l’applicazione gratuita per Android e IOS, denominata VotApp. Può essere prevista una ulteriore valutazione aggiuntiva, anche da parte del Comitato Organizzativo. È inoltre possibile, e nel caso risulterebbe inappellabile, che si possano proclamare “vincitori ex equo”.

Art. 7 - Premi
Il “Golden Earth” viene attribuito al vincitore di ogni categoria dei film iscritti. L’assegnazione della Targa CINIT – Cineforum Italiano è riservata unicamente ai concorrenti delle scuole secondarie di secondo grado del territorio nazionale, qualora ve ne fossero. La Coppa PubMe premia la miglior sceneggiatura con la trasformazione dello script in romanzo e la sua pubblicazione.

Art. 8 - Materiale pervenuto
Le opere pervenute non saranno restituite e saranno inserite nell’Archivio Multimediale del GeOFF – CittadellaGeoFilmFestival V Edizione e nell’archivio della Videoteca Cinit. Al fine di promuovere gli autori e discutere i temi sociali potrebbero essere utilizzate, senza fini di lucro, in dibattiti e conferenze a tema, con scolaresche e pubblico Tutto ciò, con la preventiva autorizzazione dell’autore.

Art. 9 - Incompatibilità
Nessun componente della Giuria del Festival, dell’Associazione organizzatrice, della Direzione Artistica, degli enti in collaborazione e del Comune ospitante potrà partecipare in veste di concorrente al Festival.

Art. 10 - Trattamento dei dati
I dati personali verranno utilizzati con la riservatezza prevista dalle vigenti norme di legge e utilizzati esclusivamente per lo svolgimento del concorso. In dati, su richiesta, potranno essere cancellati o rettificati.

Art. 12 - Norma del bando
La Direzione Organizzativa del Festival, unitamente al direttivo dell’Associazione e all’amministrazione comunale, si riservano il diritto di non dar luogo al Festival qualora intervenissero ragioni di interesse pubblico o esigenze specifiche. Anche l’inidoneità del materiale filmico pervenuto potrebbe avere, come conseguenza, il mancato svolgimento della manifestazione.

REGOLAMENTO

Art. 1
Il concorso, che intende promuovere la specifica forma artistica e comunicativa del cinema breve, è organizzato dall’Associazione Culturale Officina delle Idee, in collaborazione con Associazione Aiutismo Onlus, CINIT – Cineforum Italiano, Historia Travel, Iat Ufficio Turistico, Hotel Filanda, unitamente al Patrocinio del Comune di Cittadella (PD) – Assessorato alla Cultura, la Provincia di Padova e della Regione del Veneto, dell’Associazione Plastic Free, Etra Spa, Istituto Superiore Barsanti-Galilei. La Direzione Organizzativa e Artistica è curata dal regista Rocco Cosentino.

Art. 2
I cortometraggi dovranno avere la durata massima di 30 minuti (trenta), compresi i titoli di testa e i titoli di coda. Nessuna restrizione è prevista per la tipologia del supporto originale. I temi del Festival sono: l’Ambiente, il Territorio, i Quattro Elementi, le Energie Rinnovabili, le Innovazioni Tecnologiche, l’Alimentazione Sostenibile. Tutte le opere potranno essere già state pubblicate o essere inedite ma, comunque, dovranno essere libere da diritti d’autore. Per tutte le opere con il linguaggio in forma dialettale, o in lingua straniera, la condizione è che dovranno essere obbligatoriamente sottotitolate in italiano.

Art. 3
Per partecipare è necessario effettuare l’iscrizione sulle piattaforme FilmFreeway e Festhome. Lo si potrà fare, utilizzando i link presenti sul sito web della manifestazione entro, e non oltre, il 31 agosto 2026. Questo il sito del Festival: www.metricacorto.altervista.org

Art. 4
I cortometraggi dovranno pervenire su file MP4 leggibile. La documentazione informativa su documenti PDF. Le foto in JPG.

Art. 5
Ogni autore/classe potrà presentare n. 01 (uno) opera-cortometraggio, che dovrà essere inerente ai temi del festival. Saranno immediatamente escluse tutte quelle opere che conterranno espliciti riferimenti alla discriminazione razziale, religiosa e di ogni genere e forma compresa l’ipotesi di avversione per i diritti umani, all’infanzia e altro non specificatamente menzionato. La valutazione insindacabile circa l’ammissione, spetta alla Direzione Organizzativa.

Art. 6
Il cortometraggio dovrà essere accompagnato dalla domanda di iscrizione e dalla liberatoria, debitamente compilati. Oltre a ciò, è indispensabile inviare la seguente documentazione:
- foto del regista/autore (jpg - 300 dpi);
- n. 03 foto di scena;
- sinossi breve;
- scheda tecnica del film;
- eventuale biografia dell’autore;
- Locandina (jpg – 300 dpi);
- copia di un documento in corso di validità del responsabile del progetto (docente).
Ciascun autore dovrà assolvere ad ogni richiesta del regolamento del Festival e, in particolare, quella relativa ai diritti d’autore.

Art. 7
Dopo aver effettuato l’iscrizione sulle piattaforme indicate con l'inserimento di tutta la documentazione richiesta unitamente all'attivazione del consenso per scaricare direttamente il film e il trailer, per qualsiasi dettaglio o ulteriore e specifica informazione si può contattare direttamente la Direzione Organizzativa utilizzando l’indirizzo di posta elettronica cosentinorocco@yahoo.it.

Art. 8
I corti verranno selezionati dal Comitato Organizzativo, con un giudizio insindacabile. I finalisti verranno contattati tramite mail. I risultati della selezione saranno pubblicati sul sito www.metricacorto.altervista.org

Art. 9
Il Festival si svolgerà dal 24 settembre 2026 al 30 settembre 2027. Le proiezioni del Festival si terranno l’ultimo giovedì di ogni mese nelle date come da programma, a partire dalla Serata di Apertura di giovedì 24 settembre 2026 alle ore 20.45, presso la Sala Auditorium Torre di Malta. La serata conclusiva di Gala e consegna degli Awards, si terrà presso la Sala Consiliare Villa Rina a Cittadella (PD). La location e le date potrebbero subire variazioni.

Art. 10
GeOFF – CittadellaGeoFilmFestival V Edizione prevede l’assegnazione del Premio Internazionale di Cinematografia “Golden Earth Queste le sezioni che potranno essere premiate: Miglior film, Miglior attore, Miglior attrice, Miglior regista, Miglior attore non protagonista, Miglior attrice non protagonista, Miglior sceneggiatura, Miglior film d’animazione, Miglior documentario, Miglior film al femminile Natura Madre, Miglior film sezione Fuori Concorso. È prevista, inoltre, l’assegnazione della Targa CINIT dedicata alle eventuali scuole in concorso, unitamente a venti pubblicazioni di periodici e libri editati/curati da Cineforum Italiano per la biblioteca scolastica, due accessi gratuiti al Festival di Venezia o partecipazione gratuita ai corsi di cinema organizzati da CINIT. Oltre a ciò, la Coppa PubMe che premia la miglior sceneggiatura facendola diventare un romanzo.

Art. 11
Tutte le premiazioni saranno effettuate al termine della Serata dei Golden Earth, a conclusione del Festival. I premi verranno consegnati direttamente ai vincitori, se presenti in sala, o spediti per posta previo pagamento delle spese postali da parte dei concorrenti. Ogni modifica di calendario sarà comunicata ai finalisti con debito anticipo.

Art. 12
Tutte le notizie, i link d’iscrizione, il bando e il regolamento, i programmi, le opere finaliste e ogni informazione collegata al Festival sono pubbliche, e potranno essere consultate sul sito web www.metricacorto.altervista.org. Tutti gli articoli del Bando e del regolamento stesso, devono considerarsi accettati pena l’esclusione dal concorso. Il Festival potrà subire variazioni o sospensione a cura degli organizzatori, qualora fosse necessario. Ai sensi della legge 196/03 i dati sensibili saranno trattati ai soli fini organizzativi del Festival e per quanto previsto dal regolamento dello stesso. Si potrà richiederne la cancellazione con specifica richiesta, prevista dalla normativa vigente.

Art. 1 - Organizing Body

The "Golden Earth" International Film Award of the GeOFF – CittadellaGeoFilmFestival 5th Edition is organized by the Officina delle Idee Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Aiutismo Onlus Association, CINIT – Cineforum Italiano, Historia Travel, Iat Tourist Office, and Hotel Filanda, with the patronage of the Municipality of Cittadella (PD) – Department of Culture, the Province of Padua and the Veneto Region, the Plastic Free Association, Etra Spa, Plastic Free, and the Barsant-Galilei High School. The organizational and artistic direction is entrusted to director Rocco Cosentino.

Art. 2 - Location and Dates
The aforementioned Festival will take place in the Municipality of Cittadella (PD). The official screening venues will be the Torre di Malta Auditorium and the Council Chamber of Villa Rina, as well as online. The Festival screenings will take place on the last Thursday of each month, on the dates listed in the program. The two opening and closing events are: Opening Night: Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 8:45 pm in the Torre di Malta Auditorium; Awards Ceremony: Thursday, September 30, 2027, at 8:45 pm in the Villa Rina Council Chamber. The date and location, which are subject to change, are as follows:

Art. 3 - Participation in the Festival
Admission to the Festival must be confirmed by registering on the specific platforms listed on the festival website. Registration must be completed by August 31, 2026. Each author/class may submit one (1) work.

Art. 4 - Materials to be Submitted: Along with the registration on the online platforms, the documentation files must be submitted to the Organizing Director, also by email.

Art. 5 - Works in Competition
To be eligible, works must have a maximum running time of 30 (thirty) minutes, including opening and closing credits, and must be related to the Festival's themes. Works must be original and free of copyright.

Art. 6 - Festival Jury
All works will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee, which will make the selection. A Festival Public Jury will be formed by the audience, both in attendance and online. Voting requires downloading and using the free application for Android and iOS, called VotApp. A further evaluation may be required, including by the Organizing Committee. It is also possible, and if so, final, that "joint winners" may be declared.

Art. 7 - Awards
The "Golden Earth" award is given to the winner of each category of the submitted films. The CINIT – Cineforum Italiano Award is reserved exclusively for competitors from secondary schools within Italy, if any. The PubMe Cup awards the best screenplay, which will be transformed into a novel and published.

Art. 8 - Submitted Material
Submitted works will not be returned and will be included in the Multimedia Archive of the GeOFF – CittadellaGeoFilmFestival 5th Edition and in the Cinit Video Library archive. In order to promote authors and discuss social issues, the works may be used, on a non-profit basis, in themed debates and conferences with school groups and the public. All this requires the author's prior authorization.

Art. 9 - Incompatibility
No member of the Festival Jury, the organizing association, the Artistic Director, collaborating entities, or the host municipality may participate as a competitor in the Festival.

Art. 10 - Data Processing
Personal data will be treated confidentially in accordance with current legislation and used exclusively for the purposes of the competition. The data may be deleted or corrected upon request.

Art. 12 - Rules of the Call
The Festival's Organizing Directors, together with the Association's Board of Directors and the Municipal Administration, reserve the right not to holdat the Festival should there be reasons of public interest or specific needs. Unsuitability of the film material received may also result in the
cancellation of the event.

RULES
Art. 1
The competition, which aims to promote the specific artistic and communicative form of short film, is organized by the Officina delle Idee Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Aiutismo Onlus Association, CINIT – Cineforum Italiano, Historia Travel, Iat Tourist Office, Hotel Filanda, together with the patronage of the Municipality of Cittadella (PD) – Department of Culture, the Province of Padua and the Veneto Region, the Plastic Free Association, Etra Spa, and the Barsanti-Galilei High School. The Organizational and Artistic Direction is led by director Rocco Cosentino.

Art. 2
Short films must have a maximum running time of 30 minutes, including the opening and closing credits. There are no restrictions regarding the type of original medium. The Festival's themes are: the Environment, the Territory, the Four Elements, Renewable Energy, Technological Innovation, and Sustainable Food. All works may be previously published or unpublished, but must be free of copyright. All works written in dialect must be subtitled in Italian.

Art. 3
To participate, you must register on the FilmFreeway and Festhome platforms. This can be done using the links on the festival website no later than August 31, 2026. The Festival website is: www.metricacorto.altervista.org

Art. 4
Short films must be submitted in readable MP4 format. Informational documentation must be submitted in PDF format. Photos must be submitted in JPG format.

Art. 5
Each author/class may submit no. One (1) short film, which must be relevant to the festival's themes. All works containing explicit references to racial or religious discrimination, or any other form of discrimination, including any aversion to human rights, children, or anything not specifically mentioned, will be immediately excluded. The Organizing Committee has final discretion regarding admission.

Art. 6
The short film must be accompanied by the duly completed application form and release form. In addition, the following documentation must be submitted:
- photo of the director/author (jpg - 300 dpi);
- 3 set photos;
- short synopsis;
- technical data sheet of the film;
- biography of the author (if applicable);
- poster (jpg - 300 dpi);
- copy of a valid ID of the project leader (teacher).
Each author must comply with all requirements of the Festival regulations, particularly those relating to copyright.

Art. 7
After registering on the platforms indicated, submitting all the required documentation and activating consent to directly download the film and trailer, for any details or further specific information, you can contact the Organizing Director directly at cosentinorocco@yahoo.it.

Art. 8
The short films will be selected by the Organizing Committee, with final judgment. The finalists will be contacted by email. The selection results will be published on the website www.metricacorto.altervista.org

Art. 9
The Festival will take place from September 24, 2026, to September 30, 2027. The Festival screenings will be held on the last Thursday of each month on the scheduled dates, starting with the Opening Night on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 8:45 PM, in the Torre di Malta Auditorium. The closing gala and awards ceremony will be held in the Villa Rina Council Chamber in Cittadella (PD). The location and dates are subject to change.

Art. 10
GeOFF – CittadellaGeoFilmFestival 5th Edition will award the "Golden Earth" International Film Award. The following categories will be eligible for awards: Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Animated Film, Best Documentary, Best Female Feature Film (Natura Madre), and Best Film (Out of Competition). The CINIT Plaque will also be awarded to competing schools, along with twenty publications of periodicals and books edited/curated by Cineforum Italiano for the school library, two free tickets to the Venice Film Festival, or free participation in film courses organized by CINIT. Furthermore, the PubMe Cup will be awarded to the best screenplay, which will be converted into a novel.

Art. 11
All awards will be given at the end of the Golden Earth Evening, at the conclusion of the Festival. The prizes will be awarded directly to the winners, if present, or sent by post upon payment of postage by the contestants.Any changes to the schedule will be communicated to finalists in good time.

Art. 12
All news, registration links, the call for entries and regulations, programs, finalist works, and any other information related to the Festival are public and can be found on the website www.metricacorto.altervista.org. All provisions of the Call for Entry and the regulations must be considered accepted, under penalty of exclusion from the competition. The Festival may be subject to changes or suspension by the organizers, if necessary. Pursuant to Law 196/03, sensitive data will be processed solely for the organizational purposes of the Festival and as provided for by its regulations. Deletion may be requested upon specific request, as required by current legislation.

RELEASE

The undersigned ___________________________, responsible for the project, declares that he/she has read the competition notice and the relevant regulations to the GeOFF – Cittadella GeoFilmFestival 5th Edition, which become an integral and irreplaceable part of this document. I accept and adhere to all the rules contained herein without reservation, also pursuant to Article 1341 of the Italian Civil Code. I accept and authorize the material produced and submitted to be used for promotional purposes, including screening of the films during the event and in other cases provided for in the regulations and the Call for Applications, including screening on local, national, and international television. I release the organizer from any liability for any use by third parties other than as provided for in the aforementioned regulations and Call for Applications. I authorize the organizer to process my personal data for purposes related to the competition, solely in accordance with applicable laws.

Furthermore, I declare that the short film submitted is an original product and does not constitute plagiarism of existing works, nor does it contain elements subject to unpaid copyright. I release the Festival organizers from any civil or criminal liability arising from any statements that may prove to be untrue, and I assume all responsibility for the dissemination of my work. I declare that I have read and approved every part of the Regulations and the Call for Participation and that the information provided and signed is true.
